"FADED LOVE LETTERS" POPULAR
Charles E. Roat Publication Already Past the
One Hundred Thousand Mark—Popular With
Radio Stations and Mechanicals
"Faded Love Letters" is the title of a new
song by Pascoe, Moore and Dulmagc, the
writers of "That Tumble-down Shack in
Athlone," "Little Old Town in the Ould Coun-
ty Down," "Karzan," etc., which was released
some time ago by the Charles E. Roat Music
Co., Battle Creek, Mich. The song has passed
the hundred thousand point in sales and gives
evidence of continuing its popularity over a
long period.
The Roat Co. is particularly gratified by its
reception, considering that the firm makes no
pretense of being among the large publishers.
However, in recent years, it has put over a
number of successes and in the present instance
should establish a new figure for its sales.
"Faded Love Letters" has been popular with
several radio broadcasting stations. It is booked
for recording on a number of talking machine
records and has been released with an active
sale in player-roll form. ^The publisher has also
issued a special arrangement for marimba and
xylophone, 20,000 copies of which arc being dis-
tributed through the large xylophone manu-
facturers.
SYMPHONY CONCERTS FOR 13 CENTS

that the Boston Symphony Orchestra played at
