Ditson Co. Displays Compositions of William
Arms Fisher in Attractive Fashion
There recently appeared in the window of the
Oliver Ditson Co., Boston, Mass., an exclusive
display of the compositions of William Arms
Fisher, head of the editorial staff of that com-
pany. The display was attractively arranged and
created more than a little attention.
Among those who commented upon the show-
ing was Mrs. Blanche Dingley-Mathews, a well-
known teacher with offices in the Steinert Build-
ing, in Boston. Mrs. Mathews, who has just af-
filiated herself with the Westbrook Seminary,
of Portland, Me., where she will carry on tlvj
music department as well as continuing her Bos-
ton activities, said: "Merely to tell you how
pleased I am to see something besides a 'jazz'

months. I have been very busy with my Teach-

STEINWAY
One of the contributory reasons why the Steinway
Piano is recognized as
P I A N O S
The OLDEST in ^America
The BEST in the world
The World's Standard
may be found in the fact that since its inception it has
been made under the supervision of members of the Stein-
way family, and embodied in it are certain improvements
found in no other instrument.
It is not merely the combination of wood, felts and
metals, but it is the knowing how to combine) them in
order to produce the highest musical results which has
made the Steinway the piano by which all others are
measured.
Made in BOSTON continuously since 1823
THE STEINWAY
is a work of creative art which stands alone—unquali-
fiedly the best.
