KREISLER
AS PIANIST
km
m
Kreisler plays the piano with the same exquisite art that has brought
him undying fame as a violinist—But you cannot hear him play the
piano in public. Through the Ampico—and only through the Ampico
—may the pianistic art of Kreisler be heard, because he records it
exclusively for the Ampico, which *re-enacts it perfectly—with all
its beautiful phrasing and eloquence.
Kreisler the Violinist and Kreisler the Pianist are equally great. To
hear one is the privilege of the entire concert-going world. To hear
the other is the exclusive privilege of the owner of an Ampico.
m
And this is what he writes:
m
"The Ampico is remarkable in the highest degree, a joy to the listener and to the
artist, who sees himself in an artistic mirror, so to speak."—Fritz Kreisler.
