Miss Campbell on Vacation—Several Popular
Numbers Going Big
PORTLAND, ORE., July 25.—Before leaving for her
Summer vacation Kathleen Benoit Campbell,
manager of the sheet music department of the
Portland Music Co., is busy working over her
stock and putting it in shape for the big Fall
trade when she returns. During her absence the
department will be in charge of Mildred Perry,
her assistant.
"Tea Cup Girl" and "Sicily," the two new
song hits of Daniels & Wilson, of San Francisco,
are being featured this week by Louis Mack,
sheet music dealer, who has his store with the
Bush & Lane Piano Co. Mr. Mack says both
of these songs are going strong, as are the popu-
lar hits from the musical comedy "Irene," show-
ing this week at the Heilig Theatre.

Powers and Marple in the Yosemite
cisco, Cal., have been very active along the
Pacific Coast in recent weeks in behalf of their
firm's catalog.
We herewith reproduce a photograph taken
of the two boys in the wilds of the Yosemite
Valley, where, it is said, they were resting after
a five-mile hike up the mountains to Iron Rock,
which overhangs the world-famous Nevada
Falls.
Indirectly, we have also received a report that
they are shown contemplating singing "Have
You Forgotten"? There is some dispute re-
garding this latter inasmuch as some assume
that they would not have had sufficient lung
power left after such a climb to do the song
justice and we can hardly picture such enthusias-
tic young men singing a Sherman, Clay num-
ber in anything but their finest voices.
