A national newspaper advertising campaign is
now being arranged by Jack Mills, Inc., for the
purpose of giving publicity to the three song
hits of that firm's catalog: "Mazie," "Cuban
Moon" and "Sweet Mamma" (Papa Is Getting
Mad). "Mazie," while only a few weeks old, ap-
parently has been received by the trade and
professional singers as an acknowledged hit.
The sales reports show its popularity is steadily
increasing.
"Cuban Moon" has been recorded by prac-
tically all of the talking machine record and
music roll manufacturing organizations, and as
a dance number it has won the favor of the
orchestra leaders. "Sweet Mamma" (Papa Is Gee-
ting Mad) is a novelty song which is proving
a successful song with vaudeville performers.

FEATURED TWICE AS RECORD
"Alabama Moon" has, for the second time this
season, been issued in record form by the Victor
Talking Machine Co. The latest release is a
vocal duet by Elsie Baker and Olive Kline, two
artists who, while featuring standard numbers,
have the faculty of singing songs meeting with
universal public approval. "Alabama Moon"
lends itself readily to duet purposes and in this
form it is heard frequently.

entirely new and striking copy and the space
arranged for dealer's imprint is much larger
than in material usually sent out by central
organizations. There is room for not only the
dealer's name and address, but space for him to
mention his line of pianos, talking machines,
records, rolls and musical merchandise. Here-
with is shown a reproduction of one of the
dealer advertisements.
BIDS IN ENTERPRISE CO. BUSINESS
Crown Music Co. Takes Over Assets of Music
Jobbing House for $20,100
As related in another section of this paper last
week the Crown Music Co. purchased at auction
the business, good-will, lease and fixtures of the
Enterprise Music Supply Co. at the sale held
at the warcrooms of that company, 330 Amster-
dam avenue, on Thursday of last week.
There were a number of bidders for a time
and it looked like the sale would total a large
figure. However, it was finally knocked down
to the Crown Music Co. for $20,100.
