NEW SONG HIT FROM PACIFIC COAST
Nat Goldstein Publishing Co. Featuring "Patsy"
in a Big Way—Both Members of Company
Have Had Much Experience in the Trade
FRANCISCO, CAI.., May 20.—A hit over-
night, sung and played and whistled by increas-
ing hundreds and thousands every day, "Patsy,"
the first number to be released by the new Nat
Goldstein Publishing Co., is rapidly proving a
sensation throughout California.
The assured success of "Patsy" established
the new San Francisco publishing company on
a firm basis. Associated with Nat Goldstein,
the well-known song writer, who has for the
last ten years written many of the Remick hits,
is Ford Rush, until the formation of the new
concern professional representative of Jerome
II. Remick & Co. on the Pacific Coast. Through
Rush's popularity and widespread acquaintance,
together with Goldstein's success as a writer, it
is felt that "Patsy" and other numbers to be
published by the company will prove big hits.
Both Rush and Goldstein are leaving on a trip
to cover the Coast in the interests of "Patsy"
and to further the success of the Goldstein pub-
lications. Two other numbers published by the
concern on which a campaign will be launched
in a short time are the fox-trots "Harem Eyes"
and "I'm Learning to Love You."

The orchestra is directed by Paul Specht, who
may be remembered as the writer of "Wishing-
Specht's Orchestra at the Alamac Now One of land," a waltz published by Forster, Music Pub-

It is now understood that the Specht Orches-
tra has contracted with one of the larger phono-
graph companies to record some of the current
hits, announcements of which will be made in
the near future.
