Dear Mr. Hewitt:
I wish to advise that the Schulz player
recently ordered arrived yesterday (Monday the 14th) and
went on our floors about 1 P. M. After looking it over I
decided that "it was good stuff" and called a customer on
the 'phone and arranged for her to come to the store in an
hour. She arrived promptly at two O'clock. I showed her
how to use the levers and pedal which took about ten minutes
in all. I then gave her a bunch of rolls of her choosing
and walked down stairs and left her strictly alone. Before
three o'clock she walked down stairs and informed me that
they would take the player and would I please hold it for them
until her husband could get in and make the down payment and
fix up the contract.
At seven o'clock promptly, he walked i n —
looked at the player
heard one roll played partly thru
signed the contract
kicked in the cash and they went
on their way rejoicing as did I, myself, likewise.
I think the entire time consumed in the
transaction was about one hour and forty-five minutes, which
is, I think, one of the quickest deals put over in this store.
I am writing the above dope
not to bore
you but to show you that in our opinion, the Schula player
fills a long-felt need in our unusually strong line of goods
and allow me to say in passing, that if they all are as good
as this one, Schulz and Schmidt will do a large and lucrative
(as they say in the country papers) business together.

the company under even date.
