Final Notice!!
Since our warning in the last edition of this publication, relative to THIEVES, COUNTER-
FEITERS, and RECEIVERS OF STOLEN MUSIC, several communications have reached us from
dealers who suspect that music purchased might possibly have been stolen, or to be counterfeit
editions. We are, with the co-operation of these dealers, making searching investigations, and
will spare no effort or expense to jail the guilty persons.
Don't be an innocent party to a questionable transaction. Be SURE that the source from which
you secure your merchandise is bona fide and legitimate—or DON'T BUY!! If you have reason
to suspect the legitimacy of music offered you at attractive prices, wire this Association, at our
expense, and we will advise you.
The honest dealer deserves and will receive from this Association protection against the dis-
honest one, and against the unfair competition of counterfeited or stolen music. At no matter
what cost in effort or expense, the Association is determined to so protect him.
$1,000
REWARD
$1,000
A reward of One Thousand Dollars will be paid for information and evidence leading to the
arrest and conviction of persons or firms guilty of knowingly receiving, buying or selling, stolen
or counterfeited music of any member of this Association.
CO-OPERATION
The Music Publishers' Protective Association is anxious to extend to the bona-fide, legitimate
dealer in music, every possible co-operation looking to the development and up-building of the
business in its every branch and department. We therefore welcome suggestions from dealers
—and will earnestly consider them—give us your ideas as to how we may make this a bigger,
better and more prosperous business.
