DITSON'S JANUARY NOVELTY LIST
New Songs and Instrumental Numbers Appear,
Featuring the American Composer First
The January Ditson monthly novelty list
offers some very attractive pieces of interest to
dealer, teacher, student and music lover. This
list contains an introduction by George W.
Pound, general counsel of the Music Industries
Chamber of Commerce, under the title of "Each
Day Give a Thought to Music." A valuable
feature is found on the page devoted to the
thematics of some of the new pieces, giving
the musician a chance to try it over before buy-
ing. In addition to the comprehensive list of
songs and instrumental numbers featuring
American composers, this January list also con-
tains some interesting text matter and some bits
of humor for idle moments. In the interests of
its dealers the Oliver Ditson Co. is preparing
to issue each month, in connection with its mu-
sic list, a page of selling points for dealers.
NEW DANIELS & WILSON SONGS
"Sally" (Shame on You!) is the title of a
new song, music by Neil Moret, words by Louis
Weslyn. published by Daniels & Wilson, Inc.,
the well-known New York and San Francisco
publishing house. The above, with "Bow-
Wow, 1 a number from the pen of Wheeler
Wadsworth, a member of the All-Star Trio, and
"Samoa," a Moret and Weslyn number, together
with "Singapoo," described as a song of the
East, by Maude Fulton, completes the list of
new 1920 issues of the house.

It's what is inside of the Sterling that has made its repu
Ution. Every detail of its construction receives thorough
attention from expert workmen—every material used in its
construction is the best—absolutely. That means a piano
of permanent excellence in every particular in which s
piano should excel. The dealer sees the connection be-
tween these facts and the universal popularity of the
