"The Crocodile," Published by Irving Berlin,

Richmond, the Publisher, Opens New Quarters

fession—Fitted Up in Elaborate Manner
Otto Motzaii ;md Harry Akst have just fin-
ished a new song which lias been accepted for
immediate publication by Irving Berlin, Inc.
Tt is entitled "The Crocodile" and is of the
Oriental style.
Maurice Siegel, musical director of the Ful-
ton and Morosco theatres, Xevv
York, while visiting the offices of
Irving I'.erlin, Inc., recently hap-
pened to see the "lead" sheets of
the above number when they were
submitted for final (). K., and hear-
ing the melody played he imme-
diately requested orchestrations for-
both of his houses. Of course, at
that time the publishers of the'
number had not as yet received
orchestrations, but Mr. Siegel was
so enthusiastic he had the orches-
trations made himself. The pub-
lishers feel "The Crocodile" is a
number of much promise and will shortly
augurate a publicity campaign in its behalf.
HALL FOR SACRED MUSIC

music is being built at I'inehurst, Ala. This is
