NEW WITMARK WALTZ
"Sta rlight L ove" Promises to Be a Great Suc
cess This Seaso n
There seems to be an incr eas in g demand for
wal t z numbers this season , and as usual this
has led to the composers turning out more than
th e usual quota of such work.
One of the
new waltz Ilumb"rs is called "Starlight Love,"
and is a compos iti on from the pen of Lucien
Denn i, carrying a peculiarly fascinating m e lody
and giving much promise of being li st ed among
the waltz successes of the season. Arthur A.
Penn has writt en a lyr ic for the number, and
the sin ga G Ie qualities of the words wi ll 11.0 doubt
ass ist t owards ib popularity. M . VVitmark &
SOilS arc the publishers.
H. L. DUPONT RETURNS
H. L. Dupont, who in the past ha s been COIl
nected with some of the la r gest music publish
ing hou ses in the country, has just returne d
from France, where he served with the Seventy
eighth Division.
He contemplates a trip to
New York in the near future, and in the mean
