Ted Barron, who has written a large number
of very popular songs, several of them quite
recently, has apparently put over another clever
piece of publicity work, in the featuring by
A series of four songs with title pages in
three colors and printed on the best pebbled
paper have been recently released by Leo Feist,
Inc. The numbers, all of which have been fea-
tured in magazines of national circulation, are
entitled "When the Day Is Done," "I Met You
Dear, in Dreamland," "When the Roses Bloom
in Loveland" and "You Don't Have to Be Irish
to Be Welcome in an Irishman's Home." These
numbers were all selected for the readiness with
which they can be played or sung, and all have
excellent lyrics and melodies.
"Where
the Black-Eyed
Susans
Grow"
seems to be leading the catalog of J. H. Remick
& Co. as far as popularity is concerned, and
from present indications it shows signs of be-
coming one of the most popular songs of many
seasons.
The number is from the pens of
Radford and Whiting, who, it may be remem-
bered, have of late had several successes to their
credit.
Another feature of the above song's
popularity is the fact that it is a splendid dance
number havitig been given a clever arrange-
ment for that purpose. The music roll manu-
factures have been featuring "Where the
Elack-Eyed Susans Grow" for some time.

The latest list- of new issues for the house of

interest, a duet, two piano numbers and a sacred

and. .the Rose," a high class ballad by a well-
known writer who uses the pen name of Richard
Bloye; "Moon-Time," by Dr. A. Herbert Brewer,
which is being featured by Clara Butt; delightful
musical settings of "Sweet Suffolk Owl" (1619)
and "When Molly Smiles" (1732), by A. Buzzi-
Peccia, the gifted Italian composer; "The Road
to Peggy's Heart," a modern Irish ballad by
Daniel Protheroe; "Over the Dunes," a descrip-
tive song by Walter Guernsey Reynolds; "The

lished by the Karczag Publishing Co., Inc.
A HIT OF "HIS LITTLE WIDOWS"
"If It Should Be You" proved to be the most
popular number in the G. M. Anderson-L. Law-
rence Weber production "His Little Widows"
according to reports following the opening of
the piece Monday night at the Duquesne The-
atre, Pittsburgh.

The new song from the pen of Jos. E. How-
ard is meeting with what looks like immediate
success. The song is entitled "Love Me All
the Time," and is issued by Chas. K. Harris.
