Popularity of Action Manufactured by Staib-Abendschein Co. Has Grown to Such an Extent
That 150 Sets Are Being Produced Weekly—Simplicity of Regulation Pleases Tuners
Among recent letters which have been received
by the Staib-Abendschein Co., 134th street and
Brook avenue, New York, was one from Ralph
L. Harris, director of the Chestnut street Con-
servatory of Music, 5941 Chestnut street, Phila-
delphia, Pa. The letter contains but a few
words, but is a splendid tribute to the Master-
touch action and emphasizes conclusively a
musician's opinion regarding its efficiency. In
the letter Mr. Harris says: "Allow me to con-
gratulate you on the action you manufacture.
It is indeed properly named. It is thoroughly
a 'mastertouch.'" Letters of a similar nature
are being received daily by the company, ow-
ing to the fact that this action has been gain-
ing in popularity steadily since the first of the
year. It has not only been found satisfactory
by manufacturers who are using it in their
pianos, but also by dealers, tuners and musicians
who have either come in contact with it or have
played a piano in which it is installed.
One of the best proofs of the increasing pop-
ularity of the Mastertouch is that 150 actions
per week are now being produced at the Staib-
Abendschein factory, and several large con-
tracts for the actions for future delivery have
