According to the census figures for 1914 is-

products of establishments engaged chiefly, in
music printing and publishing in 1914 aggre-
gated $7,271,266, representing an increase of
30.4 per cent, as compared with the corre-
sponding figure for 1909. The value of prod-
ucts of the newspaper and periodical branch
of the industry formed 61.2 per cent, of the
total in 1914; of the book and job branch, 37.9
