Connecticut.
The Tyler Amusement Co., Stamford, was incorporated
with a capital stock of $6,000. Geo. A. Tyler, Stamford;
Wm. 11. Hanna, New Britain, and Chas. P. Webb, Stam-
ford, are incorporators.
Delaware.
Toledo Beach Caroussel Co. was incorporated with a
capital stock of $7,500 for amusement purposes. .John
McLaren, F. B. Knowlton, S. V. Dowling, New York City,
are the incorporators.
Illinois.
Weis Hotel Co., East St. Louis, was incorporated with a
capital stock of $30,000. John J. Weis, Michael Walsh and
Celia Weis are the incorporators.
Indiana.
Charles Bivins, of Bloomington, is to erect an airdome
at Fourth and Walnut streets in that city.
The Liberty Theater Co., of East Chicago, has been
incorporated with a capital stock of $5,000. Morris Brennan
is president of the incorporation.
Manager Tully opened the Empire airdome at Dillsboro
recently.
The Princess Theater at Boswell was opened Aug. 1. J.
O. Smith is manager of the theater.
Kentucky.
J. E. King is pushing work on a new theater which he
is having erected on Winchester avenue, in Ashland.
The Crescent Amusement Co., of Nashville, Tenn., has
completed and opened its new Princess Theater in Bowling
Green.
W. H. Viet?, of La Center, recently bought an old school
building which he is having moved to a lot on Third street.
He expects to remodel the building and open it as a motion
picture theater.
Maryland.
Work on the Club Theater, now being erected at the
northeast corner of German and Light streets, Baltimore,
which has been temporarily interrupted, is expected to be
resumed in the near future. The lot is a portion of the

Walbrook Amusement Co., North avenue and Ninth
street, liallimt re, is planning the erection of a two-story
theater to cost $35,DUO.
Massachusetts.
Samuel Kumin, 311 Main street, Worcester, is having
plans prepared for a two-story moving picture theater and
s,tore building.
Grand Theaters Co., of Marlboro, was recently in-
corporated with a capital stock of $75,000. A. J. Adams,
Win. S. Reiser, of Somerville, and A. Beauregard are the

New Gleason Hotel Co. was incorporated at Marlboro
with a capital stock of $5,000. Jos. Picard, J. Edw. Fee,
of Marlboro, and K. 1'. Bishoff are the incorporators.
Michigan.
Eugene II. Hill, 109 North Dearborn street, Chicago,
is having plans prepared for a one-story moving picture
theater, to be erected in Detroit in the fall. The house will
be known as the Alhambra theater.
Arthur Callie, Detroit, is having plans and specifications
prepared for a modern one-story theater and store building
to be erected in the near future.
Miss Maybelle Wills, Detroit, was awarded the contract
for the erection of a one-story moving picture theater.
Minnesota.
C. D. Green & Co. have begun construction of a new
theater on Main street, between Second and Third streets,
in Anoka.
H. J. Henton has been granted a license by the city
council of St. Paul to operate an outdoor moving picture
show at the rear of 357 West Seventh street.
W. M. Duke, 607 Sixth avenue, Minneapolis, has awarded
the contract to B. Cooper, 1100 Hawthorne avenue, for the
erection of an open air theater to cost $3,000.
Rea Realty Co., Tribune annex, Minneapolis, is planning
the erection of a two-story theater and store building.
Van Deusen & Stevens, Winona, Minn., are preparing
plans and specifications for a one-story moving picture
theater to cost $8,000 at Tracy.
Nebraska.
W. R. McFarland, City National Bank Building, Omaha,
is having plans prepared for a one-story moving picture
theater and store building, to cost $20,000.
F. J. Keene, Kearney, is erecting a commodious moving
picture and vaudeville theater.
Acme Amusement Co., Lincoln, C. F. Phillips, manager,
is planning to erect a two-story moving picture theater
to be known as the Orpheum Theater; cost, $75,000.
William F. Stoecker, 701 South Eighteenth street, Omaha,
contemplates building a moving picture theater nere in the
fall.
Nelse Anderson has opened a moving picture show in
Nehawka.
Thomas Daddow has opened a motion piture show at
Loup City-
Henry Boumie has opened a moving picture theater at
Plainview.
New York.
One Hundred and Ninth Street Theater Corporation was
recently incorporated with a capital stock of $10,000.

Clay avenue, New York City, are the incorporators.
The Model Theater Co. will build a motion picture
theater at 149 E. Genesee street, Buffalo, to cost $40,000.
The new People's Theater at Binghamton was opened
recently by A. W. Newman.
A Keith vaudeville theater will b« erected on the Whel-
don property on South Salina street, Syracuse.
Daniel Pantalone will erect a motion picture theater at
16 E. Erie avenue, Corning.
Frederick Ullman, Mutual Life Building, Brooklyn, is
having plans prepared for a theater building to cost $40,000.
Frederick Wilms, 672 President ftreet, Brooklyn, expects
shortly to commence the erection of a one-story moving
picture theater to cost $9,000.
Dyker Heights Amusement Co., Brooklyn, are having
plans prepared for a two-story moving picture theater to
cost flO.OOO.
Louis Krellberg, 1 Rutgers street, New York, is planning
to expend $15,000 for alterations to his moving picture
theater.
M. Munden, 926 Broadway, Brooklyn, is planning the
erection of a two-story theatre and office building to cost
$75,000.
A. Paul Keith and E. F- Albee, New York City, are
having plans and specifications prepared for a twelve-story
vaudevile theater and commercial building in Syracuse.
Franklin C. Norton, Mott avenue, Rockaway, L. I., is
having plans prepared for a one-storv airdome and store
building, to cost $2,500, Edgemere, L. I.
Daniel Pantalone, Corning, is planning to erect a two-
storv theater and store building to cost $20,000.
