Dream," by R. L. Smith, and "Sweet, My Honey,"
by the same composer. The two latter are set to
poems by F. L. Stanton. There are four piano
numbers of unusual excellence, "Kakuda," the new
one-step by Felix Arndt; "Nocturnette," by Brian
Hope; "Melodie de la Foret," by Eugen Janowski,
and "Happy Memories," by Karl Rosendorf. There
is also a song cycle by H. T. Burleigh, entitled
"Saracen Songs,"- and six three-part choruses for
women's voices.
Friend (at a French play) : Why did you ap-
plaud so vigorously when that comedian made his
speech before the curtain?
Spriggins (confidentially) : So that folks would
think I understood French. What did he say:
Friend: He said the remainder of his part
must be taken by an understudy, as his mother
was dying.
STERLING
It's what is imside of the Sterling that has made its repu-
tation. Every detail of its construction receives thorough
attention from expert workmen—every material used in ita
construction is the best—absolutely. That means a piano
of permanent excellence in every particular in which a
piano should excel. The dealer sees the connection between
these facts and the universal popularity of the Sterling.

The H. P. Nelson products have
risen to their present high position
in the trade because of strict ad-
herence to the policy on which the business
was planned, i.e,: The greatest value for the
least money.
Dealers who are forced to meet
heavy competition in the commer-
cial grades will find the Gerhard
line ideal. Of the Gerhard it can be truthfully
said that it is the "most" piano in the country
for the money.
