THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
delsso'hn Glee Club. It is entitled "The Winds."
Her part song, "Fair Daffodils," is on the pro-
gram of the Rubenstein Club this season. Here-
tofore Miss Bauer has been best known by her
solo songs, which have been sung the country
over by Schumann-Heink, Gadski, Alma Gluck,
Renaud, Griswold, Bispham and other prominent
vocalists. Two of her lyrics, "Coyote Song" and
"The Red Man's Requiem," bear witness to the
fact that she hails from the West. She has caught
the spirit of the South, too, in her "Up the Ockla-
waha," which was written for Maud Powell and
played by that great artist all over the country.
The eminent American composer, Arthur Foote,
described this as the most vivid piece of color in a
short violin number that he had ever heard.

It's what is inside of the Sterling that has made its repu-
tation. Every detail of its construction receives thorough
attention from expert workmen—every material used in its
construction is the best—absolutely. That means a piano
of permanent excellence in every particular in which a
piano should excel. The dealer sees the connection between
these facts and the universal popularity of the Sterling.
