ORCHESTRAL CATALOG REVISED.
(Special to Xhe Review.)
BOSTON, MASS., September 28.—Walter Jacobs
ihas come to the conclusion that his orchestral cat-
alog needed revision. The question of list prices
has long been a matter that has received serious
attention of publishers, and Mr. Jacobs in partic-
ular studied the situation so thoroughly that he
saw an opportunity of giving the public the bene-
fit of a reduction. The result has been that he
is now issuing a new catalog in which his orches-
tra list, including a wide range all the way from
popular numbers to standard overtures is marked
down to a flat uniform rate which will surprise
Mr. Jacobs' patrons when they study the catalog.
One of Mr. Jacobs' latest publications, quite the
latest piece out in fact, is "Francine Half-and-
Half," a new dance for piano by Norman Leigh.
STERLING
It's what is inside of the Sterling that has made its repu-
tation. Every detail of its construction receives thorough
attention from expert workmen—every material used in its
construction is the best—absolutely. That means a piano
of permanent excellence in every particular in which a
piano should excel. The dealer sees the connection between
these facts and the universal popularity of the Sterling.
