THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
ask for from a dozen to twenty pieces to look over
and find only two or three that meet her require-
ments. The result is that the remainder have to be
put back in stock at a considerable cost of time and
trouble. With the bound volumes convenient the
teacher has all the music right at hand and can se-
lect the number without any effort on the part of
the clerk. In such a case the music, once taken
from the stock, remains out, for it is sold. The
bound volumes are supplied to the dealers at actual
cost, which has been reduced to a surprisingly low.
figure.
"Valse June" has been placed on its records by
the Victor Talking Machine Co., and Thos. A. Edi-
son, Inc., is also having it recorded. In addition,
it is stated that over 10,000 bands and orchestras
are playing the number.
STERLING
It's what is inside of the Sterling that has made its repu-
tation. Every detail of its construction receives thorough
attention from expert workmen—every material used in its
construction is the best—absolutely. That means a piano
of permanent excellence in every particular in which a
piano should excel. The dealer sees the connection between
these facts and the universal popularity of the Sterling.
