The Englishmen evidently enjoy ragtime, but
the playing of such music by the Guards' Band
during the procession of the King and Queen at
the opening of Parliament proved just a little too
much for even the ragtime advocates to stand.
The Musical News says:

will be located in the new Lefly department store,
which will be opened in a brand new eight-story
building at Grand avenue and Second street about
April 1. A complete stock of all the best folios
will be featured.
