HOW TO DISPLAY MUSIC.
A.Parisian lady journalist complains that the
average music seller has no idea of displaying the
latest publications to the best advantage in his shop
windows. The average musical girl who is on the
look out for something "pretty" will never be able
to discover it by merely seeing a collection of
covers and title pages; and the seller would cer-
tainly increase his sales if he showed some pages
of the music instead.
It would seem as though the point made by the
Parisian lady is well taken. An attractive title

purpose of printing song books, music and a
musical paper. The officers of the new company
are M. B. Smith, president; W. T. Smith, vice-

the store has been placed in charge of J. W. Shaw,
