HILE the illustration herewith conveys a fairly accurate idea of the Style "H" Starck piano, yet, the engraver's art cannot portray with
strict fidelity the beauty of the veneers which characterize the Starck creations and which are admittedly striking.
The architectural lines are definitely brought out in the illustration shown; but, the beautiful veneers add tremendously to the
attractiveness of the piano.
It is generally conceded that the Starck instruments are encased in the most attractive woods procurable.
So much for exterior beauty which, of course, is a decided power in the selection of instruments; but add to the charm of case a tone which
meets with the approval of critical buyers and you have at once a combination which is interesting to live dealers.

To specially enumerate the varied features of the Style "H" would take too much space, but we might briefly add it is double veneered,
inside with bird's-eye maple and outside with highest quality figured woods; hand-polished, mirrored surface; carvings in front panel and truss caps
deeply hand carved in solid mahogany or solid walnut; absolutely the daintiest and richest carving ever put on any piano; automatic duet
extension music desk; noiseless rolling fall board; polished lacquered brass continuous hinges, pedals and trimmings throughout; built up laminated
rock maple acoustic bent rim in sounding board; pin block made of seven-ply hard rock maple, cross-banded, warranted to withstand any climatic
changes; highly decorated full composite bell metal frame; highly polished tuning pins, bushed with hard rock maple; three strings; overstrung
bass; copper-wound strings in bass; double repeating action, containing improved patent brass flanges; highly finished hammer rail; heavy best
quality German felt hammers; muffler attachment for practice; one-piece Empire top, same as Grand pianos, with 25-year guarantee.
It is made in the most beautiful figured mahogany as well as selected fancy burl walnut.
Now, you can sell some of these instruments to your holiday trade.
There is no doubt of that.
We shall be pleased to take up this matter with dealers who desire something unusually attractive in the piano line.
