Pianos are conceded to embody rare values. They are the result
*of over three decades of acquaintance with trade needs. They
are attractive externally, possess a pure musical tone and are sold
at prices which at once make the agency valuable to the dealer.

ARTISTIC STANDARD
It is with pardonable pride that we refer to the unanimity with which the
Greatest Artists, Brightest Critics and Best Musicians have accepted EVERETT
Pianos as the new Artistic Standard. Progressive dealers are fast providing
themselves with " T h e Everett" as a leader.

H E hardest fought campaigns are those tried out between com-
peting commercial lines.
In bloody warfare when an enemy is
conquered, the wounded are cared for tenderly by those who created
their suffering.
But in business the warfare is relentless and it never
ceases until competition is ground fiercely out and the red flag of the
auctioneer announces the final act of the business drama.
Knowing this stern, unrelenting competition, it is well to prepare for
it in every way.
It is well to weigh all the elements that add to or subtract from
business success.
It is well to couple keen insight with logic, with sincerity and fixity
of purpose.
These will surmount the adversities of business and insure
the success of any sound enterprise.
There are two great elements in a man which make for success.
They are concentration and comprehension.
Without concentration of thought, of mind, of energy, success is im-
possible and without a proper comprehension of conditions, of competition
and the elements which go to make up the hard fought business battles,
great achievements are impossible.
Are you well girded for the fray—for the great battlefield of business ?
Are you preparing yourself for promotion—for the shoulder straps
of a commander or wiH you serve in the ranks ?
