THE
MUSIC TRADE
REVIEW
NE MAN REMARKED the other day that
it was easy to make pianos. That may be
true, if a liberal interpretation is applied to
the word " piano " so that it includes all of
the " rattle-boxes" which are put forth from some
factories, but it is not an easy task to create
pianos which will withstand the most exacting
tests, which will enable the musician to gratify
his most exalted tastes—pianos which will attract
artists and experts—pianos which will give delight
in every home wherever placed—pianos which
will live up to every reasonable statement which
a dealer may put forth in selling them—pianos
like
THELUDWIG
for instance, which have stood the test of years,
and for which there has been a steadily increasing
demand, showing that the quality is there, the
merit is there. Dealers have not been slow in
learning these facts.

BULLETIN No. 4.
L
AST week we discussed the merits
of the Christman Small Grand,
and we may add further to that
discussion by saying that since putting
out our last bulletin we have received
a number of strong commendatory
statements in support of our claims
that the Christman is the best Small
Grand on the market.
Mere words are cheap, but we
are willing to support our statement
by the strongest kind of evidence—
evidence that is irrefutable—and we
are confident that we can convert you
to the Christman line of thinking.
We can make you a loyal exponent
of the Christman product if you will
give us an opportunity. That is all
we desire — simply the opportunity.
We can do the rest and you will be
in line selling Christman Grands and,
of course, we must not forget, Christ-
man Uprights. It will pay you to
investigate more carefully the claims
which we put forth.
If you are a
business man naturally you are inter-
ested in money-making possibilities.
Now we are confident if you take up
the Christman line you will largely
increase your profits as the months
go by. We say unqualifiedly that
there is no piano on the market which
contains better musical qualities than
the Christman, or has greater general
attractiveness—none at any price.
Strong words, truly, but investigate
and see if we are not correct in our
statements. Why we can produce
such value for the money may be
seen in the fact that the Christman
family are piano makers.
They
supervise their own business and are
content with modest profits, giving
the dealer the advantage of many
years of experience. September is
here and it is time to get ready for
the fall trade. It is going to be
excellent and you can make the
most of it by having the Christman
instruments in stock.
