DEMAND FOR SPECIAL CREATIONS
Cleveland, O., April 17, 1905.
A feature of the local trade during the past few
weeks has been the increasing demand for
specially designed and elaborately cased pianos
and organs. This is revealed in a very emphatic
way by a visit to the warerooms of the B. Dre-
her's Sons Co. Among recent purchasers were
the following:
Harry Clyde Brooks has se-
lected two fine Steinway grand pianos for use
in his private music studio at Painesville, O. A
Steinway grand piano in a special mahogany art
design has been purchased by F. W. Bruch, 2520
Euclid avenue. A Prospect residence has just
received a large Aeolian orchestrelle in a mag-
nificent Circassian walnut case. Eastern Star
lodges at Mantua and Vermilion, O., have pur-
chased handsome upright pianos for use in the
lodge rooms. A special Pianola piano in white
mahogany was delivered to Mrs. J. H. Wade for
use in her elegant Euclid avenue home. An
Aeolian pipe organ has been ordered for the home
of a prominent Cleveland physician, and a large
pipe organ has been contracted for by the East
Cleveland Baptist Church.
"The month of March," says Henry Dreher,
"has been the largest March in the history of
our firm, and in addition to the above orders, all
of which were secured by the B. Dreher's Sons
Co., trade has been unusually good in high-grade
and medium-priced instruments of regular stock."
The recent educational exhibition of pianos,
pianolas, aeolians and pipe organs at the ware-
rooms in the Arcade was a revelation to many
who, for the first time, visited this large estab-
lishment. The immense stock of musical instru-
ments shown called forth unstinted praise for the
men who are at the head of this progressive
house.
The B. Dreher's Sons Co. are to be compli-
mented for the energy, push and up-to-date busi-
ness methods which have placed them in the
front rank of the country's great piano and organ
houses.

HADDORFF CO.'S EXTENSION.
The Haddorff Piano Co., of Rockford, 111., are
having a splendid success with their five new
styles, which are growing in favor wherever
introduced. J. M. Root, vice-president of the
company, on his travels through the East has
been most successful in placing the representa-
tion of this piano.
CARD FROM KRANZ-SMITH CO.
The Kranz-Smith Piano Co., of Baltimore, Md.,
are sending out some very handsome announce-
ments containing the information that they are
now in their new building, northwest corner of
Charles and Fayette streets, and extend a cordial
invitation to the trade and public to visit them
in their permanent home.
The Waterhouse Music Co., Pasadena, Cal.,
have purchased and will continue the business
of the Hamlin Music Co.
