Charles E. Wason, the well-known felt man,
and Nelson E. Booth have organized the Wason
& Booth Co.. for the purpose of manufacturing
felt specialties, with offices at 341 Broadway, New
York. In addition they will act as mill repre-
sentatives for the Nelson-Dedicke Felt Co., ot
Middleville, N. Y., and the Western Pelt Works,
of Chicago. Manufacturing quarters have been
secured up-town, which, in the near future, will
be materially augmented. Both members of the
new company are experienced and widely
esteemed in the trade.

(Special to The Review.)
Buffalo, N. Y., July 25, 1904.
The Woods & Brooks Co.. manufacturers of
ivory keys and keyboards, report business as far
as affects their house, to be in excellent shape.
Prospects have improved steadily since last
spring, and this is very evident at the immense
plant of the firm, where the various departments
are working in full force. Shipments are being
made with great frequency, and there is no evi-
dence of the oft-discussed Presidential dulness.
Mr. Woods of the firm was in New York last
week.
THE STAIB-ABENDSCHEIN CO.

BORING MACHINE
One of the most convincing proofs that the
Staib-Abendschein lost-motion attachment suits
piano manufacturers admirably Is found in the
firm's daily record of output. The record for
June, 1904, as an example, shows an output of
over 200 sets more than during a corresponding
period in 1903. Of course, a proportion of this
increase ought justly to be credited to the firm's
general progressive methods, but the trend of
evidence indicates unqualified approval and gen-
eral adoption of the latest Staib-Abendschein
device by patrons.
