Styles A, B, C and D are being sold in
ebonized and fancy decorated woods. Style
A is described as "31 strings, 4 chords, C,
G, F Major and G sept." Style B has 15
tones and 6 sharps arranged on keyboard.
Its description is "41 strings, 5 chords, C,
G, F, D, A Major." Style C is the same
as B, with fancy decorations and larger
size, constructed on the elegie style, giving
it a more powerful tone.
The largest style, D, is known as a Parlor
Grand Deweylin, with chromatic scale, 47
strings, 25 tones, 10 sharps and flats on
keyboard. It is beautifully decorated and
inlaid with celluloid around the edges. It
is in 7 chords, C, G, F, D, A Major, and
D and A minor.
Frank Scribner, like others who know
the possibilities of the "Deweylin," is en-
thusiastic about it, and his faith is made
strong by the confidence and success of
the jobbers. He says it cannot be pointed
out too strongly to enterprising dealers
that they will do well to become acquaint-
ed at once with the merits of the "Dewey-
lin" through their jobbers.
The sixty-second anniversary of the
founding of the house of Wm. Knabe &
Co. will be celebrated in Baltimore to-day
by the employees of the firm in the form of
a general jollification and pic-nic.

Musicians at War.
There are three Hebrew theatres in this
city, and two unions of musicians are now
at war with each other as to which one
shall control the orchestras employed in
them. The organizations are known as the
Forward Musical Union and the Carl Sahm
Club. The former trains with the Social
Democratic party, and the other with the
Anti - DeLeon - Voght - Kuhn - Sanial - Abe
sohn Keep-Murphy and Brower faction, in
the Socialist Labor party.
The disruption is due to politics and the
interference of outside trade bodies. Both
organizations are connected with the Mu-
sical Mutual Protective Union, and any
differences between them, it says, should
be submitted to that body for its decision.
The Central Federated Union is backing
up the Carl Sahm Club because it sends
delegates to its body.
I. N. Rice is doing some good work for
the " Needham " in Western cities.
