It describes the
ANGELIS ORCHESTRAL.
Steadily increasing business and wide-
reaching popularity, the merited accom-
paniments of fair dealing and excellent
wares, have rendered the old quarters of
the Starr Piano Company, at 133 South
Main street, entirely inadequate, and it has
been compelled to move one door north,
into No. 131.
The company's new abode is capacious
and inviting, and is particularly adapted to
the business.
The first floor comprises the general store
room and the offices. There are special
office apartments for each, the manager,
bookkeeper and salesmen, and all are well
lighted and handsomely furnished. The
piano parlors are found on the second floor,
which is reached by a wide staircase from
the rear, and here are exhibited in an ad-
vantageous manner the different styles of
pianos made by the company.
The whole building is converted ilito a
veritable garden of palms, floweis, etc.,
and along the walls are arranged pictures
of musical celebrities and scenes of ex-
quisite beauty. There are also displayed
eighteen excellent interior views of the
factory, which is located at Richmond,
Ind., and which is the third largest of its
kind in the world. The front windows
will be more occupied by easels and palms
artistically set around a costly and beauti-
ful piano.
The Starr Piano Company has been in
business in this city for the past two years
and were located for one year at 133 South
Main street. Mr. C. E. Guild is the efficient
manager of the concern, with Mr. Roland
White as assistant manager. In addition
to these there is a sufficient office staff and
a large force of local and traveling sales-
men.
The Starr Piano Company enters upon
its career in its new quarters under ex-
tremely favorable conditions, and it is
safe to say that it will continue to merit
and receive the large and profitable patron-
age it has hitherto enjoyed.—Dayton, O.,
Press.
< Played like the Symphony.)
A new and wonderful invention that instantly converts any piano
into a self-playing instrument. In every house where there is a
piano the ANGELUS ORCHESTRAL is needed. It is
The Master-key that unlocks
the gates of Melody for all I
No musical talent on the part of the
performer is required. A child that
has never before seen a piano can, with
the aid of the ANGELUS ORCHES-
TRAL, render the most difficult com-
positions in a manner possible to only
the most accomplished and practised
of pianists. Contains (in addition to
the piano-playing mechanism) two full
sets of organ reeds, which may be
played separately or in company with
the piano.
Instantly applied to any piano —
grand, upright or square — and ns
easily removed. No technical knowl-
edge required; the performer has
merely to work the pedals and operate
the stops that control the time and ex-
ression and thereby render the most
ifficult pieces in a truly masterly
way. Does not scratch or injure the
piano in the least.
Made in all varieties of polished
woods to match any piano.

The above ia a very brief and incomplete account of the
ANGELUS ORCHESTRAL. Send your name and address on a
postal card and we will gladly mail photos and full description.
Whether you intend to purchase or not, you will be interested
in learning more about this musical marvel of the century.

The Virgil Works Closed.
The works of the Virgil Practice Clavier
Co., Winthrop avenue, Steinway, L. I.,
were closed by the sheriff last week on
strength of a judgment for $5,534.90 ob-
tained by Geo. E. Mariner a member of
the concern, as reported in last week's issue
of The Review. It is said the closing
down of the works will throw almost a
hundred men out of employment.
