THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
twenty-one pieces of wood from the Holy
Land, one being from a grapevine that
grew in the Garden of Gethsemane. Around
the margin are set in a row small pieces of
wood, diamond shaped, gathered from all
over the civilized world. In one end of
the back is inserted a horseshoe made of
castor wood, and in the other end is the
image of a rabbit carved in cherry. There
are, in all, over one hundred and fifty
pieces of wood, and the only tools used in
manufacture of the instrument were a
pocket knife and a half-inch chisel.

Pianola Display.
A. R. Reeves, manager of the Helena
Music House, Helena, Mont., is display-
ing the Pianola to great advantage in his
establishment these days. A series of re-
citals is being given every afternoon this
week at three o'clock to which the public
is invited. The daily papers of Montana,
notably the Independent, have contained
lengthy and interesting notices bearing on
the possibilities of the popular Pianola.

Jacob Bros/ Advance.
There are no dull times with Jacob
Bros. This concern maintain such a well
organized business and have such a splen-
did distribution for their product that it
seems at all times there is abundant life in
the manufacturing 1 department.
Jacob
Bros, are thoroughly up-to-date and pro-
gressive business men. Aside from a dis-
tribution of their product from the Atlantic
to the Pacific, they maintain a number of
branches in New York and vicinity. Their
recent Philadelphia move, whereby Geo. R.
Fleming, the .capable Philadelphia dealer,
will handle their wares, has been duly re-
corded in The Review.
