An industry succeeds by identifying itself with
the needs and best interests of its constituency. One
of the strongest points in the success of the
Davenport & Treacy
business lies in the fact that in the casting of piano
plates and other piano hardware, all the demands
made upon the pianoforte have been carefully con-
sidered, and the " D . & T . " plates do not break.

F. A. Winter.
F. A. Winter the well-known music
dealer and musician of Altoona, Pa., is re-
ceiving no little publicity these days in the
local papers on account of his activity in
musical matters. It is only fair to say
that he has contributed much to the enjoy-
ment of those musically inclined by his ad-
vocacy and support of musical matters
generally in that section. Mr. Winter's
business this fall has been excellent, better
than for years. Much of this—in fact all
of it—is due to his enterprising and push-
ing methods.
This has been a busy week at the Soh-
mer factory and warerooms. This year's
record of output and actual sales proves
conclusively that the Sohmer policy of \n\-
failing excellence meets with the hearty
approval and support of those who appre-
ciate conscientious effort.
ANGELIS ORCHESTRAL.
< Played like the Symphony.)
A new and wonderful invention that instantly converts any piano
into a self-playing instrument. In every house where there is a
piano the ANGELUS ORCHESTRAL is needed. It is
The Master-key that unlocks
the gates of Melody for all I
No musical talent on the part of the
performer is required. A cliild that
has never before seen a piano can, with
the aid of the ANGELUS ORCHES-
TRAL, render the most difficult com-
positions in a manner possible to only
the most accomplished and practised
of pianists. Contains (in addition to
the piano-playing mechanism) two full
seta of organ reeds, which may be
played separately or in company with
the piano.
Instantly applied to any piano —
grand, upright or square — and ns
easily removed. No technical knowl-
edge required; the performer has
merely to work the pedals and operate
the stops that control the time and ex-
ression and thereby render the most
ifflcult pieces in a truly masterly
S way.
Does not scratch or injure the
piano in the least.
Made in all varieties of polished
woods to match any piano.
Sturz Values.
Sturz Bros, report an excellent week's
trade with bright prospects. The Review
has, on several occasions, noted the special
features of the Sturz products. These
features are conspicuous in the most recent
styles. Dealers who are on the alert for
good values and fair trading are likely to
benefit by informing themselves concern-
ing Sturz pianos.
The above is a very brief and incomplete account of the
ATSTGELUS ORCHESTRAL. Send your name and address on a
postal card and we will gladly mail photos and full description.
Whether you intend to purchase or not, you will be interested
In learning more about this musical marvel of the century.

Frank B. Burns is now comfortably set-
tled in his new quarters, next door to the
Mason & Hamlin warerooms. The window
exhibit is a model of good taste. The
store stock is large and well-arranged.
Asked by The Review for news on
Thursday, Mr. Burns said: " I have no
fault to find, but can take care of all the
new business likely to come along. This
is the time dealers should send to me for
samples and prices. They will find my
goods right in every way, and I will make
it worth their while to do business."
