THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
A Busy Firm.
27
One of Kranich & Bach's Artistic Creations.
The R. S. Patterson Music Co. have just
received two new Blasius upright pianos from
the factory in Philadelphia, and another will
arrive this week. All are in San Domingo
mahogany cases, but each case is finished in
different style carving, style 14 being a
novelty, as there is absolutely no carving on
the panels. The effect is beautiful, as the
rich grain of the wood is more ornate than
any hand work by man could possibly be.
Shipping bills have also been received for a
style B Kingsbury in antique oak case and
fitted with automatic full swing music rack.
The Kingsbury factory was 300 pianos behind
when the order was received, and the music
company has been ten days without one on
the floor. A Behr Bros, upright piano ar-
rived at the store to-day, and three Chicago
cottage organs were shipped from Chicago on
February 28th, and will be here to-morrow
probably.—Port Huron, Michigan, Times.
Lindeman &. Sons Piano Co.
This week's report at the Lindeman Co.'s
factory is exceedingly encouraging. President
L. W. P. Norris, in response to a question,
said that there has been a phenomenal in-
crease in business during the past few days,
with every prospect of continuance.
Among recent visitors at the Lindeman
factory was Mr. A. Lertz, of R. Lertz & Son,
Baltimore. His selections of stock from the
latest Lindeman styles were sufficient to
make a shipment of two carloads early in the
week.

and occupation. We have in our possession sev-
eral thousand letters and testimonials from pur-
chasers, indorsing in strong terms the musical
qualities, general merits and the pleasure it af-
forded them to be able to write that the Emerson
gave them perfect satisfaction. It may be proper
to state that this general satisfaction could only
be secured by your willingness at all times to
make such changes in construction, regardless of
cost, which we deemed necessary for the climates
of different sections of Texas.
We can further say that you have been constant-
ly improving and perfecting the Emerson pianos,
and with our personal acquaintance with the
members of your company and your well-known
factory facilities, we feel certain that the Emerson
will be kept in the front rank and continue to please
your agents and their patrons.
It may not be amiss to add, in conclusion, that
during our business relations of so many years we
always found you ready and willing to comply
with every reasonable demand.
Wishing you much success we remain,
Yours very respectfully,
Thos. Goggan & Bro.
Has No Fault to Find.
Jacob Doll was seen at the Doll piano fac-
tory on Wednesday, as jovial and industrious
as ever. Asked for his views as to the con-
dition of trade, so far as Doll pianos are con-
cerned, he exclaimed, " W e are always ready
to receive bigger orders and more of them,
but we have no fault to find."
