firm engaged in the manufacture of pianos
at 8 and 10 Fifth avenue, Brooklyn. Mr.
Soutter was for some time in the employ of
Steinway & Sons.

played in the Bradbary warerooms in
Washington, which Mr. Van Wickle has
just received from the factories in Brooklyn.
They are attracting much attention, and
heavy business will evidently be transacted
around the holiday season.
THE Rev. Robert Hunt, a highly esteemed
minister of the Methodist Church, died at
the home of his son, John E. Hunt, dealer
in pianos and organs at Pawling, N. Y.,
recently.
The Rev. Mr. Hunt was born
in 1833, and entered the ministry in 1857.
He was a man of peculiar power, tolerant
and broad minded, and an interesting
speaker. He was well known and highly
esteemed among the masonic fraternity.
He was also a writer of force, and his liter-
ary contributions were always read with in-
terest. A widow and four children survive
him.
