HE present standing of the Russell
Piano Co., of Chicago, must be grati-
fying to the members of that firm. Under
the able management of one of the bright
young men of the trade, Mr. C. C. Russell,
they have increased their facilities and trade
season after season until their output to-day

about to erect a new factory building at 261
S. Jefferson street, which will have a front-
age of fifty feet, eight stories high, in the
very heart of the manufacturing district.
The Russell pianos are favorites with deal-

out a well-made piano, which is sold at a
reasonable price. The future of this con-
cern is evidently a bright one. They are
moving along modestly, but effectively, and
will make a "louder noise" when the proper
time comes.
