MR. GEO. C. CRANK Eastern representative

was on a trip down East last week, and secured
some good orders.
MR. CALVIN WHITNEY, of the A. B. Chase
Company, returned from a trip through New
England late last week, and left for home Sun-
day night.
MR. ALFRED P. ROTH, of Roth & Engelhardt,
manufacturers of piano actions, St. Johnsville,
N. Y., made a flying trip through the Northern
part of this State last week, and is highly grati-
fied with the condition of business.
MR. V. J. HLA.VAC, of St. Petersburg, has
written an " Elegy " in memory of the late
Emperor of Russia. Mr. Hlavac will be remem-
bered as one of the judges of musical instruments
at the World's Fair.
