field of labor. Of course men would have to
make up their minds to be apprentices. In
some cases apprenticeship might have to be
paid for; in other cases it could, no doubt, be
obtained free.
" If I can do anything for the members of
your Association in this respect I am at all
times cheerfully at hand ; or if I can serve the
Association with models and parts of actions I
shall be happy to furnish them ; or if any of
your members visit New York, they are cor-
dially invited to inspect the work as it is done
at the Schwander action factory.''

fitting it up elegantly, says the Oswego Times.
The building has three floors and a basement.
They will carry a full line of pianos and organs
and do a general tuning and repairing business.
Mr. Klock is the gentleman who negotiated
with our business men last year to locate his
organ factory here but went to Manitta, O., re-
turning here in June. Mr. Dobbinson is an ex-
pert pipe organ workman and piano tuner, hav-
ing for several years had charge of the great
cathedral organ at York, England. He is now
overhauling the organ in the First M. E. Church
at Gloversville, N. Y., but is expected here
next week. They will shortly begin the manu-
facture of organs in Oswego.
From the foregoing it will be evident that
Mr. Klock has not been idle since coming
Eastward a little while ago.
