BOURNE
PIANOS
ESTABLISHED
The instruments known as the " Crown,"
Have justly earned a high renown,
In every place where they are known ;
As well for elegant design
And workmanship—so superfine—
As in their character of tone.
Their softer tones vie with the breeze,
That whispers love among the trees ;
And at the player's will can soar,
'Till up and up, they climb and leap,
Laughing at rugged mountain steep,
And stand where awful thunders roar.
Their joyful tongues and throbbing wires
Possess a magic which inspires
A love of song in every breast;
And when they cease, they leave behind
A memory of that fragrant kind,
Which ranks them always with the best.

MESSRS. LYON & HEALY, the great Chicago
firm, who employ upwards of 300 workmen, are
said to produce over 100,000 musical instruments
annually. Their Peloubet Church organ is a tri-
ump of reed organ construction, and the
numerous improvements the firm have made in
the harp have done much to revive the popular-
ity of this beautiful instrument in America.
A STRADIVARIUS violin was recently sold for
$9,225 at Stuttgart.

THE OLD STANDARD
MARTIN GUITARS
THE ONLY RELIABLE
Manufactured by C. F. Martin & Co.
CONNECTION WITH ANY OTHER HOUSE OF THE SAME NAME.
For the last fifty years the MARTIN GUITARS were and are still the only reliable instruments used by all first-class Professors and Amateurs throughout the
country. They enjoy a world-wide reputation, and testimonials could be added from the best Solo players ever known, such as
Madame DE GONI,
Mr. WM. SCHUBERT,
Mr. S. DE LA COVA,
Mr. N. J. LEPKOWSKI,
Mr. H. WORRELL,
Mr. J. P. COUPA,
Mr. FERRARE,
Mr. CHAS. DE JANON,
and many others.
Mr. N. W. GOULD,
but deem it unnecessary to do so, as the public is well aware of the superior merits of the Martin Guitars. Parties have in vain tried to imitate them, not only here in the
United States, but also in Europe. They still stand this day without a rival, notwithstanding all attempts to puff up inferior aud unreliable guitars.

T H E ONLY ONE O F ITS KIND.
Beautiful in design, unequaled in quality of tone and finish, and unsurpassed
in solidity of construction. Full piano size and proportion, piano finish, piano
pedal, continuous hinge on lock-board, piano music rack, piano frets of the latest
design of tracings, hand carved piano trusses, etc., and unlike all other piano
cased organs on the market, has the most perfect stop-action. The lock-board is
made in two sections' the first section folding back and laying in the second
section, in which position the instrument presents a piano appearance. By a
second motion the second section is slightly r aised, and swinging back under the
upper front brings the stop-action into prominence. We have also many beautiful
and artistic designs in hign top styles that are unsurpassed by any manufacturer
in the world. Correspondence solicited. Catalogues mailed on application.
Address all correspondence direct to the manufacturers. Special inducements
offered to all foreign trade. Sample instruments sent on approval, and guaranteed
to be up to the highest s'andard. All instruments warranted for six years.
