ONE of the most interesting features of the
Giant's Causeway is " T h e Giant's Organ."
This huge " instrument " consists of a group of
pillars of various lengths set apart on the side
of the main cliff. The larger columns being in
the centre and the smaller ones tapering off on
either side, after the fashion of organ pipes,
admirably sustain the idea which the name
" Giant's Organ " conveys.—St. Louis Republic.
J. Nicholas Crouch, the veteran composer of
"Kathleen Mavourneen," has another, a re-
arrangement of the famous song, for J. K. Mur-
ray to use in the new Irish play, ' ' Glendalough,''
which is to be produced at Proctor's Theatre in
January. He has also composed two new songs
for the comedian. It is possible that Mr. Crouch
will lead the orchestra on the opening night of
the play in New York.

The Mozart Musical Society, composed of
amateur musicians, will give its first concert
and entertainment and a ball at the Lyceum
Opera House, Sunday evening, January 8. Only
first-class talent will appear, and Leo Cole will
be musical director and Abe Gluck concert
master.
