THE now and very beautiful "Louis Fifteenth" styles
of Wilcox & White Organ Co. have struck the popu-
lar demand.
THE new styles, 250, 250 y 2 and 2C.0 of the Burdett
Organ Co., Erie, Pa., are very handsome. The mel-
low tone, delicate touch and easy blowing make these
organs very desirable instruments.

station at the factory and offices of Story & Clark.
This is but the result of Immense pressure of corre-
spondence and increase of business. The firm of
Story & Clark never fail to score some new point as
each month goes by, and it is safe to say no other
house is more alive to their own interests and those
of their agents than this well known firm. Orders
from foreign agencies are greatly facilitated by this
new departure and fully two weeks gained.

minster, Mass., is making a trip through the New
England States in the interest of the Jewett piano.
It is not necessary to predict a successful trip, for
the Jewett instrument possesses t,wo very taking
qualities with the dealers, to wit: quality which is
first-class and price which is medium, and further-
more the firm is an honorable one in every respect,
and any dealings which the trade may have with it
will prove satisfactory and profitable to the trade.
MR. HERRBURGER, JR., of Paris, is making a trip

IT SEEMS to be becoming quite a general thing for
the trade to go to Europe for their summer vacation.

0. H. R. MiLiiEii gave a very fine piano recital at
Taylor's music store, Springiield, Mass., on Saturday
evening, May 2lst. He used all the different makes
of pianos which seemed to please the audience very
much. There were about three hundred people pres-
ent and they went away well satisfied with the enter-
tainment. Mr. Taylor will have a number of recitals
at his rooms during the summer.
THE new special style upright of Newby & Evans
is certainly a handsome instrument and well deserv-
ing of the successful run it is having. Messrs. Newby
& Evans are having a large trade which taxes their
factory to its utmost.
CABLE & SONS, New York, have just completed a
new scale piano which they intend to push with vigor.
They have already sold quite a number of this new
style, all of which give good satisfaction. The firm
have takeu into partnership a gentleman of unexcep-
tional business qualifications and they propose to
push their wholesale trade more than ever before.

ONE of the oldest representative business houses
of Junction City, Kan., is the music house of S. W.
Pierce & Co., established in 1871. Their business is
not confined to local trade, but their travelling sales-
men reach every hamlet in the State. They do an ex-
tensive jobbing business in pianos, organs and musi-
cal merchandise, and their mail order trade in band
and orchestra music and supplies covers the entire
State and extends in Colorado, Nebraska and adjoin-
ing states. They have an extensive acquaintance over
the State and consider this the most desirable loca-
tion for their business on account of the superior
railroad facilities.
KNABE DAY at Taylor's music store, in Springfield,
Mass , on June 1st was a grand success. Prof. E. B.
Perry, the blind pianist of Boston, furnished the en-
tertainment in two fine programmes, including selec-
tions from Chopin, Schumann, Schubert-Liszt, Dew-
ey, Rubenetein, Jensen, Liszt and compositions of his
own. The Knabe grand piano was used and proved
fully equal to every shade of tone and power which
the artist desired to produce.
GRAND, SQUARE AND UPRICHT.
Indorsed by Liszt, Gottschalk, Wehli, Bendel Strauss, Soro Abt,
Paulus, Titiens, Heilbron and Germany's Greatest Masters.
