Hill, accompanied by Judge Wm. L. Muller, of
the Court of Claims, and Capitol Commissioner
Perry, visited New York for the purpose of purchas-
ing an outfit for the Executive Mansion at Albany.
While in the city the Governor called at the Steinway
& Sons' warerooms and selected a parlor grand of
the same style as the one President Cleveland has at
his residence in Washington. The case of the Gov-
ernor's piano is a beautifully figured mahogany.
