JACK HAYNES is selling numbers of the Huner pi-
anos, and the Newman Bros, organs. The Huner
piano is made of excellent material and is spoken of
very highly by those that have tested it.
BEHR BROS. & Co., N. Y., state that their trade is
entirely satisfactory. This firm is always abreast of
the times, as the many valuable improvements in the
"Behr" piano will prove.
AUG. BAUS & Co., N. Y., are taxing their factory to
its utmost to meet the demand for their goods. The
Baus piano is becoming a very popular instrument
at concerts and all kinds of musical entertainments.
One of these instruments is used at the Academy, in
Sioux City, Iowa, where it is constantly receiving the
highest praise.
MR. N. J. HAINES, SR., returned last week from a
trLp to Chicago. He states that the Haines piano is
rapidly gaining ground in the West, and Is highly
pleased with the success of the Chicago house.
ONE of the busiest firms in the piano trade is that
of Decker & Son, N. Y. They have been working
their very best to get a little stock ahead for their
wareroom, but it is an actual fact, that up to a few
days ago they have been unable to retain a finished
piano, the demand is so great. The reputation of the
Decker & Son piano is by no means limited, but
spreads all over the country. The following para-
graph from the Spokane Falls (Wyoming Ty.) Re-
view, will show what is thought of the Decker & Son
piano in the far West:
Yesterday A. L. Davis & Son received a magnifi-
cent grand piano of the Decker & Son make for the
California house. Last evening when a reporter for
the Review dropped into the salesroom whore the in-
strument is set up, Mr. Walker Bean was fingering
the keys. Mr. Bean is a connoisseur when it comes
to pianos, and he stated that it was one of the sweet-
est toned instruments that he had seen in this country.
The piano is a beauty in workmanship, and has a
sweet, clear tone. It will be a great addition to the
parlor of the California house.
I. N. GOFF, Providence, R. I., and his right hand
man, John Darling, gave us a pleasant call a few days
ago. Mr. Goff, who is the oldest dealer in Provi-
dence, says that business is excellent.
