hear the same report from all the dealers who han-
dle this firm's goods, viz.: that they sell rapidly and
give entire satisfaction.

manufacturing some excellent chairs. The patent
back is something splendid and will make the chairs
sell readily.
ALBERT MANSFIBLD has started in the music busi-
ness in Syracuse, N. Y.
A. L. BAILEY, Burlington, Vt., is doing a good busi-
ness with the Ivers & Pond pianos.
THE Hallet & Davis Co., Boston, Mass., are hav-
ing all the orders they can fill. Mr. G. P. Guilford,
who controls the ware-rooms, stated that their retail
trade was never better and he finds it almost impos-
sible to keep any stock in the ware-rooms.
THE Emerson Piano Co., Boston, continue to have
all the orders they can fill.
WE HAD a very pleasant call a few days ago from
Mr. T. M Antisell, San Francisco. He is here se-
lecting a large stock of materials for his new factory,
and states that he intends to push the piano business
more than ever. Mr. Antisell contemplates opening
a branch house in this city, under the management
of his three sons. He says that the California trade
was never better than at the present time.
ME. MELVILLE CLABK, of the firm of Story &
Clark, organ manufacturers, is making his semi-
annual trip in the interest of the products of his ever
progressive organ.
