article in 2007, so watch this space). Anyhow, in all, three of these 1930s cranes were
for sale at the same time, so I viewed them all before buying Pete's. I love its Art Deco
features, the carved mahogany case and the French approach to the business, which
differs from the US versions. When it first arrived , my wife drew parallels between it
and the Tardis but she ' s more used to it now. Oh, and the children adore it, too.
Which is why, of course, we collect these things in the first place - isn't it?
