Super star Elton John points to the great Bally 4-player, "Capt. Fantastic", that is
boosting !Uton's popularity with young and old thruout the nation. Tremendous public-
ity for Elton John in small and large towns and cities as well as in entire states
where he will not be seen in person.
According to Bally' s Tom Nieman, "MCA and Ila.Uy are offering a 'Capt. Fantastic'-
Elton John contest to everyone who fills out entry forms available in every record
store in the country .
"In addition", advises Tom, "Dally, MCA and Elton John intend to present major media
promotions in 6 to 8 of the largest markets on Elton's U.S. tour.
"The Playboy Club Enterprises", continues Tom Nieman, "are firming up many ideas that
range from a 'Pinball Olympiad' in the Montreal l'layboy Club to celeb rity competition
in Los Angeles and other clubs - all based on Bally 'Capt. Pantastic'."
lloss D. Scheer, Bally's well known marketing director, who heads all the programs,
reported, "Most important to all of us at Dally is to make sure that every operator
in the nation cashes in on the tremendous publicity that has been arranged.
"We feel very certnin", l~oss Scheer continued, "thnt operators wil 1 enjoy the kind
of cash flow they only dream about as a result of operating 'Capt, Fantastic'. That",
he concluded,"is rnost importnnt to every operator as well as to Dall y - for this is
the reason for all our effort and manufacturing ingenuity. We feel sure operators will
always remember July 1976 as the great bicentennial month because of ' Ca.pt. Fantastic'."
