people we've met during the mayoral campaign. irs truly a tribute to our democratic
system that so many citizens-of vastly different political views-are willing to sacrifice
their time and energy in actively supporting the things they believe in. We have been
overwhelmed by the friendliness and hospitall1y of the thousands of Omahans we've
met In all sections of the ci1y.

Ed and Cece Zorinsky
{Jood It is with mixed feelings of elation, pleasure, pride and great triumph that we
greet one of the members of our industry , the Honorable Edward Zorinsky , newly
elected Mayor of the City of Omaha , Nebraska, and his very charming wife , Cece .
Ever since he entered the political arena to challenge for the Mayoralty of his
city we have written about Eddie Zorinsky , whom we ' ve known ever since he was just
a youngster, and told of his marvelous efforts in behalf of this industry as well
as for the people of his city and state.
We look upon his great landslide election victory as the stepping stone to ever
greater achievement in his service to the people. We most sincerely hope we shall
be here to see the Honorable Edward Zorinaky attain to the greatest of voter approval
in the years yet to come.

Certainly all the industry glories in the great landslide election triumph of one of its most beloved young members
who devoted himself to helping the operators in his state as well as his national association for some many years.
It was Eddie Zorinsky who helped to obtain the passage of bills in his state capitol that have benefitted all in the
industry in Nebraska. Now we greet him as the Honorable Edward Zorinsky, Mayor of the great and booming City of
Omaha, Nebraska. We look forward to the day when we can greet him with the greater title the voters of his city and
state can confer upon him.
