Screen Gems is Ace's first Video Club
Machine, and uses the same processor and
logic board as the successful video awp.
MACIDNE FEATURES All Game information
displayed on the monitor screen. On screen
metering including refill meters. Refill
available on 10p and 50p inserts. Stabilised
percentage payout with four selectable
settings at 760/o, 780/o, 800/o and 820/o. Three
coin inserts 10p - 50p and the new 20p coin
when issued. Built in test routines check
lamps, solenoids, monitor set up, win
recognition. Available in 10p and 50p versions
with a payout range from 20p to £100 or 10p
to £50. Accountancy and stabilizer systems
protected from mains failure.
GAME FEATURE Gamble Feature on all wins
up to £3.20. The gamble feature is displayed on
the top half of the Monitor Screen. The
machine attempts to match two arrows with a
single illuminated panel selected by the player.
If one arrow matches the win is doubled [x2).
If both arrows match the panel the win is
quadrupulled [x4). If no arrows match the win
is lost.
HALF GAMBLE The half gamble uses the
same display, only half the win is paid and
half is gambled, if the gamble is successful
half is paid and the remainder gambled again,
this continues until the final gamble is lost
MAIN FEATURE This feature has three base
values. 20p to £1 for 2 star criss cross on reels
2 and 3 60p to £6 for 3 star criss cross left or
right. £2 to £100 for 4 star cris cross or any 3
of a kind bars left or right. During this feature
the reel display is removed from the screen to
be replaced with 5 win values, the 5 values
are then covered by shell symbols which then
cycle and come to rest, they can flash in
sequence and the player may select one of the
five by pressing the feature button the shell
will then lift and display the hidden value. The
sequence is then repeated and the player has
four attempts in all to increase his win.
