the legalization of slot machines.
We did realize some good out of the Pat Brown Case.
Several collectors from Louisiana did meet in Baton
Rouge and we are attempting to form a coin machine
collectors club of the State of Louisiana and hopefully
we can host swap meets etc. in the future.

Dear Editor,
In February, 1981,1 ran a full page ad in order to pick
up money for the Pat Brown fund in order to finance an
appeal to the United State Supreme Court.
I thought I would drop you this line and advise you as
to what is going on with Pat Brown's case. The Supreme
Court has refused to hear same and Mr. Brown was
going to pursue the matter in the federal courts in
order to get a second shot at same.
In the meantime, the Louisiana Legislature in all
their infinite wisdom enacted House Bill 1216, which
was signed into law under Act No. 73 by Governor
Treen on July 23,1981.1 attach a copy of said House
subscribed to your magazine and am well pleased with
same. I have several stories to compose, photographs
to take etc, and I will submit same to you at a later date.
I have some very interesting stories to publish in
reference to some of the experiences I had when I was
looking for slot machines, dealing with the old slot
machine operators who had stored them for a number
of years.
