Editor's Statement
In lieu of our normal Editor's Statement we are going to
share a letter with you which we just recently received from
the new Managing Editor of Loose Change, Mel Qilden.
Although we have not yet met him, he was kind enough to
take the time to extend a personal invitation to us to bring
our books and The Coin Slot to a reception for collectors the
night before Roy Arrington's event of the year—the 9th An
nual Victorian Casino Auction.
We hope to see many of you at the reception. If you can't
attend Friday evening, by all means attend Roy Arrington's
auction at the Riviera. The Victorian Casino Auction is one
that no serious collector should miss.

Thanks for your cooperation. Hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
Mel Gilden
There is no admission charge for the reception. Dealer's
space, tables and chairs, will be provided free of charge.
The only charge is for cocktails, and they will be available at
the special price of a buck each.

Mr. Mead invites you to print the enclosed news release
