Coin Slot

Issue: 1979 March 050

Coin Slot Magazine - #050 - 1979 - March [International Arcade Museum]
The best serial to find is on the inside paper, for it is generally
accompanied by a tag date showing the date of manufacture.
The last Mills serial location, starting with the CHROME and
going through the "Hightops", is a die-stamping in the wood in
the center of the back at the bottom, right below the removable
back. This was so the operator could see the serial number at the
very time a meek change was being made. A lot of these have
worn off, or were carved off, so it's often harder to date and
identify a "Hightop" than a much earlier machine.
This list runs us out of a serial number inventory as of this
writing, so if you have some, or haven't gotten around to it yet,
get going and send them in for all of us to share. We won't print
your name or locale if you don't want us to; just let us know.
