Coin Slot

Issue: 1978 December 047

Coin Slot Magazine - #047 - 1978 - December [International Arcade Museum]
EDITOR'S STATEMENT
In our never-ending effort to improve the Coin Slot, we would
like to institute some significant changes beginning with the Jan
uary 1979 issue.
Here they are:
1.We are going to start a monthly "Letters to the Editor"
column.
See page 40 for a full explanation.
2. We have heard from many different sources of the real need
for a "Collectors Forum/'
This differs greatly from a "Let
ters to the Editor" column in many important ways.
See
page 40 for a complete explanation.
3. Collectors need to know where to buy things, or get things
done-so we are starting a free listing of BUYERS GUIDE and
COIN MACHINE SERVICES.
If you are a dealer, restorer,
own a retail shop, etc. we will give you the free listings you
want -- and will run it every issue.
If you have goods or
services our readers should know about, tell us and we will
include
it
in
the
COIN
MACHINE
SERVICES
listings.
4. How about a periodic column called SOUND OFF, in which
we will provide guest editorial space.
We hope this will in
crease communication between collectors, and in print. So we
are asking you to "SOUND OFF".

That's it for now.
Now all we need to do is wait for all of you
before the auction took place. Sorry about the goof!
The January
Coin Slot will definitely contain a full auction report.
