EDITOR'S STATEMENT
Beginning this month, the Coin Slot is re-introducing a new
monthly feature entitled "Down Memory Lane."
It will display
old advertising on slot machines, pinball games, jukeboxes, gumbail
vendors, trade stimulators, etc.
I hope all of you will enjoy it and
find these old ads helpful. Any comments or suggestions you may
have about this new feature will be welcomed.
Additionally, if you have any old advertisements around home
along these lines that you wish to share with other readers, send
them to us.
We will try and print some of them in future install
ments of "Down Memory Lane" for the enjoyment of all. A high-
quality copy of your ads will be made immediately and the original
ad will be returned to you within a month. They will receive extra
special care to insure that they are not damaged.
Also new this month is the first of a new series of articles
entitled "Most Wanted No. 1, 2, 3, etc.". Each month Richard M.
Bueschel will share with you information he has uncovered on
various machines that were once manufactured,
seemingly disappeared completely.
but have now
Armed with this knowledge,
we hope you may one day run across one of these creations and
immediately realize what a "rare find" you really have made.
